Dinner Auction: September 22, 2007

THANK YOU to the many friends and FCUMC members who demonstrated their commitment to Joyful Hearts Preschool by participating in this fund-raising event! Nearly 120 people attended the dinner auction. Close to 150 items were donated through the generosity of our congregation, as well as by local businesses.

The dinner auction event raised just over $11,000!! These funds will be used to purchase equipment needed by the preschool. It is also hoped that a portion of the funds can be used to help with tuition assistance for families next year.

Twilight Golf Tournament, June 30, 2007

THANK YOU to the many friends and family members who demonstrated their commitment to Joyful Hearts Preschool by participating in this fund-raising event at the Fairwood Golf and Country Club in Renton, WA! We were blessed with spectacular weather, and wonderful fun together. The evening of golfing was capped off with a barbeque dinner at Fairwood Community United Methodist Church.

The tournament fee and generous participation on the raffle prize drawings raised over $3000 for Joyful Hearts Preschool! These funds will be used to purchase furniture and teaching aids for our school opening in September.
